I had no idea I would be paying for so many lessons for four girls when I came to the surface. Ballet, piano — and now violin. Well, at least Molly’s found something that she wants to fill her extra time with that doesn’t involve pulling her sisters’ pigtails, that’s always good.

At least I know I have a bunch of talented little girls.

Reminds me, though. Hey Pops — the girls haven’t seen their Grandpa in a while. Why don’t you come over for dinner or something? I can’t imagine that you like being cooped up in that huge condo thingy where you live all the time. We can talk about what’s got you so damn sad, too. [deleted]

Sweet merciful God, ice cream is hard. It’s been a while since I managed to have ‘Sunday Sundaes’ with Claire again, considering all the crap that’s happened lately. But it’s nice to have them back now. But like I said, ice cream is hard. And I don’t mean, ‘soft serve’ or ‘hard scoops’ either — I mean four little overly excited girls, diddling around in an ice cream shop with twisty cones in their hands is a match made in hell waiting to happen.

How the heck do you do it, Dr. T? With all those little girls at your side, how the heck do you survive the messes?

Although I have to say, this having four little girls thing is working out pretty awesome for me. I mean, apparently all you need to get a girlfriend nowadays is to have four little girls writing ‘will you date me’ letters for their pop.

Who knew?

Why does this have to be video again?

[Sure enough, the laptop’s microphone picks up as Jack turns on the webcam so that any who click the entry can view it. He gives a sigh and moves his hand to take a piece of paper being offered to him by a tiny hand — one of his four girls, naturally. They giggle together as he unfolds it.]

Alright, alright. [He shakes his head and glances to the kids.] But I have to get dinner going after this, so no more funny business.

[Clearing his throat and not bothering to glance into the camera, begins to read what the girls have written for him:]

Dear Claire. [He glances to the girls.] You wrote a message for Claire?

Right. Dear Claire, will you please be our Papa’s girlfrie — HEY!! [Cue him chucking the note to the desk and running after a bunch of giggling little girls.] Get back here!! You four are in such big trouble!

[While being chased, Jack distracted in doing such, one of the girls’ makes their way to the laptop.] Please Claire? [And with that, the camera then clicks off.]

[ The microphone on the laptop clicks on, Jack clears his voice and for the moment, a gentle bit of strumming from an acoustic guitar is picked up, although no melody is being played, simply tuning the strings is being picked up, follows by his voice as he begins to speak. ]

Alright Claire, you keep complaining that you’re bored, so I’m going to do something that might entertain you for at least a couple of minutes — and besides, I promised I would play for you a long time ago and didn’t.

[ A gentle strumming picks up again before it suddenly stops. ]

And don’t laugh, either.

[ Again, the strumming picks up for an acoustic version of a song. After a moment, he begins to sing, which he does surprisingly well. ]

Stars shining bright above you,
Night breezes seem to whisper “I love you,”
Birds singing in the sycamore trees,
Dream a little dream of me.

Say nightie-night and kiss me,
Just hold me tight and tell me you’ll miss me.
While I’m alone and blue as can be,
Dream a little dream of me.

[ The guitar picks up somewhat, although remains gentle throughout his playing. ]

Stars fading but I linger on dear,
Still craving your kiss.
I’m longing to linger ‘til dawn dear,
Just saying this:

Sweet dreams ‘til sunbeams find you,
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you.
But in your dreams whatever they be,
Dream a little dream of me.

[ After the song is fully sang, he simply turns off the microphone with no other words to be heard. ]

[ ooc; he’s singing ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’ (obviously) a la Glee, to be honest. If only because I like Kevin McHale’s voice for him lolololol. ]

Alright — how the fuck these stupid kids got into Level Seven, I don’t fucking know but I do know that they’re lucky the shit in there didn’t kill them. They’re not going to be so lucky when I get my God damn hands on them though, that’s for fucking sure. The rules state that I have to be present for them to be there, thus Level Seven and above are CLOSED after 10:30pm and they are closed at that time for a reason.

If you want to DIE? Fine. Go in without me keeping watch. Go in, and die a horrible, painful death when monsters that even the Dean [deleted] I can barely keep back using the Telekinesis Plasmid come after you and eat your fucking limbs off your body and leave you to die. Seriously, have fucking fun, really.

I swear to God that I am going to murder those stupid little… asdfghasjhjas
Seriously?! Just who does that?!

If I see those punks around here once they recover, I will shoot fucking bees at them. Screw it. And I hope they’re allergic, too. At least that’s kinder than what I really want to set up for them. Like proximity mines around the perimeter. [deleted]

This had better not be on my fucking ass, either.

Why is facebook so addicting? I don’t even give a crap about the statuses and junk — I just really like the stupid games. I have a farm, a café, a pet, a kingdom and a warrior all in one thing. It’s pretty amazing, but I think I should probably try to stop and, you know, do some homework now or something. As much as I don’t really want to, that is. Who needs math when you could be growing watermelons?

Oh and by the way, Claire, I am totally Hercules because I just killed that stupid hydra in castle age.

Molly is getting used to the place, which is good, I was kind of worried that she might take a while to fit in, but the other girls are playing with her and keeping her company, and I’m glad about that. She’s a little different though. She doesn’t want to join ballet or the other dance classes and she doesn’t want to play piano or anything like that, either. So I’m thinking about bringing her to the music store and seeing if there’s something she might want to learn to play or asking her about some other lessons she might like to try out. It’s not that I think she needs them, but it would give her something to do when the other girls are gone, right?

Although I tell ya, she really seems to like that dart gun I got her and the other girls to make sure they keep Claire in line while I’m at work.

I’m just glad that everything is slowly going back to normal…
Well, as normal as it can be, I guess.

Still, things are looking pretty bad… Claire’s shot, unconscious, coming in and out of it… I don’t even really know how bad this all is, the nurses keep smiling and junk — but that doesn’t really mean crap all to me until they actually explain everything. Diane’s pretty shaken up, Pops is upset. Her brother — well, yeah, of course he’s upset too, so. The only ones that don’t seem to be overly bothered are the girls, but I think that’s because they don’t really understand.

Mhn, that reminds me. I found the missing Little Sister. You’d be surprised how quickly a guy will file adoption papers after something happens. Anyway, Rochelle, Eloise and Adalheid have a new sister: Molly. And now that that asshole [deleted] I’ve brought them home, they’ll get to play together more. Of course, right now they’re all at the hospital with me. I’ll be damned if I let them out of my sights ever again. And don’t even think about trying to take them, any of them, away from me either. [deleted]

Once I know that Claire is feeling better, I’ll start taking them back to their lessons. For now? Sick leave works just fine for me.

Cymoril — I’m sorry that I haven’t been able to show you the training area yet. I’ll have to give you a rain check on that one. Things came up, and I can’t do it right now. But soon. I promise.

Claire. It’s time to move out. I know it’s not according to plan but things changed.

I’m leaving now to come find you and your brother. We have to do this tonight.
